The newly founded Luiss US Foundation aims to develop transatlantic projects with the ambition to contribute to bring Italy and the US closer together. In accordance with the distinctive international outlook of Italy’s leading private university established by Confindustria, the Italian business association, Luiss US Foundation intends to generate academic and cultural projects with a public impact linking Rome to Washington, and Italy and Europe to the US. Nurturing the reputation of Luiss across the Atlantic, the Foundation turns philanthropic gifts into high level research, teaching and policy work.
The Luiss US Foundation allows Luiss to develop an enhanced cooperation with universities, companies, civil society organizations and public entities in the US. The Foundation also represents both a stable home for US-based Luiss Alumni to maintain the intellectual engagement with their alma mater and a hub for students and researchers looking for opportunities to attend and work with Luiss. Equally, the Foundation aims to remain engaged with the large Italian American community in the US.
It will allow donors to make tax-deductible contributions to support the mission and goals of Luiss University and ensure they are managed responsibly and distributed according to donor wishes.

Luiss US Foundation is the official fundraising organization of Luiss University in the United States. It allows donors to make a difference in the world by supporting Luiss people and programs, while saving on taxes.
Luiss US Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt charitable organization based in Delaware. Donations to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Various types of donations can be envisaged, such as establishing a scholarship scheme, donating cash, properties, or financial assets, or setting up a testamentary gifts or an endowment fund. Luiss Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors composed of professional, business, and philanthropic leaders dedicated to promoting the University’s pursuits of teaching, research, and public service.
